Meet ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Alum ‘23 William: “Hi, my name is William Sabin, more commonly known by my last name Sabin. I graduated from ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú in 2023. I’m currently a freshman at Western Washington University in Bellingham.
Something I loved about ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú is how I could make connections with my teachers on a personal level. The deeper the connection with my teacher, the more I was able to accomplish within the given course. Connecting with my teachers more personally has also helped me in college and beyond. Talking to the right people will always open doors for the present and future you.
ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú has absolutely prepared me for my first year of college. My biggest takeaways were learning the raw material and essay/story writing skills as well as knowing how to take notes efficiently.
ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú also taught me how to create and structure a presentation with a group and on my own. We learned how to synthesize material and cite our work and how to incorporate everyone’s thoughts and ideas when working cohesively in a group, knowing which points to put on each slide.
My education at ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú has impacted my life choices and shown me I can enjoy so many things while managing them well. Having incredible teachers has also greatly impacted me because they have shown me the beauty in all of their subjects. This has helped me mix different parts into my courses, such as using the writing skills I learned and applying them in a college physics course project.â€
