Both our kids started as 9th graders coming from outside middle schools. One of them has since graduated and is in college - she got into every school that she applied to and had more good options than was easy to sort through! For students who want to be genuinely challenged and arrive at college already prepared to think and write, ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú has been the right place for both of ours.

ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú’s advisory program prepares you for success – today and in upcoming years. In grades 9 and 10, meet weekly with your academic advisor to focus on academic skill development, goal setting, and more.

By the spring of 10th grade, you will:

    • Learn about the process at our annual College Preview information night.
    • Take the PreACT practice admissions exam.

Begin directly working with College Counseling:

    • Meet with College Counselors and fellow students to explore your interests and understand all your higher education options.
    • Interact with some of the 100+ college admissions representatives who visit our campus each year.

You will also be able to take the PSAT, a practice college admissions exam.

    • You (and your parents) will start meeting individually with a primary college counselor to support your specific goals.
    • Refine and focus on what’s important to you, who you are, and where you want to go.
    • Enroll in the bi-weekly College Counseling 11 class (from January through May) to learn more about college research, interviews, and essays.
    • Attend college fairs, admissions case studies, and useful workshops covering a range of topics like financial aid and college research.

    • Check-in with your primary Counselor regularly to finalize your applications list and refine application materials.
    • Enroll in the biweekly College Counseling 12 class (September through November), which supports your individualized application process.
    • Learn about financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and everything you need to successfully transition to college.
