Ray Wilson
Head of School
Ray holds a BA in Sociology (University of California, Santa Cruz) and an MEd in Organizational Leadership (Holy Names University). He is an experienced leader with close to three decades of teaching and leadership experience in independent schools. As a progressive educator, he believes in the primacy of academics and the value of experiential learning that is relevant to student’s lives.Â
Prior to ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, Ray served as the Upper School Director at The Bush School, as well as in day and boarding schools across the country including: the Park Day and Redwood Day Schools (Oakland, CA); Sonoma Academy (Santa Rosa, CA); St. Andrew’s School (Savannah, GA); and Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA). He also serves on the Steering Committee of the PNW chapter of People of Color in Independent Schools (POCIS), and is actively engaged as a leader and speaker in the ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú Association of Independent Schools’ professional development programs.Â
Ray has spearheaded diversity workshops on curriculum development, student support, and on building an inclusive school culture.
