Dmitry Sherbakov, PhD

Dmitry has a聽PhD in Metallurgy and Materials Science (Southern Ural State University), and聽began his聽science and teaching career in Russia. He was later聽invited to the University of Toronto to work as a research scholar.聽
Upon returning to Russia, he led聽internationalization efforts at聽Southern Ural State University for almost a decade. Later, he served as聽Associate Director of the Ford Foundation International Fellowship Program at the Institute of International Education (IIE) in聽Russia, which is the largest Ford Foundation scholarship program.聽
He is a grant recipient of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, and was awarded special recognition by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation for the development of international education programs.
