Danielle Thal
Science Faculty
Danielle holds a BS in Biology, a BA in Chemistry, and an MA in Secondary Education (University of New Mexico).
She has almost two decades of聽experience teaching science to students in grades 6-12 all over the world, including in China and Vietnam. At 糖心logo入口,聽she teaches biology, chemistry, and environmental science in the upper school. She is a proponent of聽inquiry-driven learning and labs that emphasize聽the connection of science to the real world.
Since 2023, Danielle has also served聽as a research fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where聽she is exploring聽the connection between HPV and Cancer. She has developed curriculum to share her learning with others, which will eventually be published by the Fred Hutch Science Education Partnership.
