Danielle Thal
Science Faculty
Danielle holds a BS in Biology, a BA in Chemistry, and an MA in Secondary Education (University of New Mexico).
She has almost two decades of experience teaching science to students in grades 6-12 all over the world, including in China and Vietnam. At ÌÇÐÄlogoÈë¿Ú, she teaches biology, chemistry, and environmental science in the upper school. She is a proponent of inquiry-driven learning and labs that emphasize the connection of science to the real world.
Since 2023, Danielle has also served as a research fellow at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where she is exploring the connection between HPV and Cancer. She has developed curriculum to share her learning with others, which will eventually be published by the Fred Hutch Science Education Partnership.
